Get ready to channel your inner warrior-Viking Fest is returning to Anson Acres Park from April 24-26, 2026, and it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable weekend of history, adventure, and hands-on fun for all ages.

For three action-packed days, Whitestown transforms into a lively Viking village where the past comes to life. Stroll through immersive encampments filled with reenactors in full Viking garb, watch live combat demonstrations, and experience the sights and sounds of a time long ago. From the clash of steel to the rhythm of live entertainment, there’s something around every corner to spark your curiosity.

A Festival Full of Adventure

Viking Fest is more than just a spectacle-it’s an experience. Explore multiple Viking villages, browse handcrafted goods from local artisans, and enjoy a variety of food and drink, including mead for those looking for an authentic touch.

Feeling strong? Step up and test your might in the Keg Toss competition, or bring the young warriors along to try their hand at the Iron Skillet Toss. With prizes awarded across age groups, it’s all in good fun-and a little friendly competition.

Families will also find plenty to enjoy, including inflatables for kids, which will be open during the day and close at dark on Friday and Saturday evenings.
