Summer kicks off in a big way in downtown Lebanon with Boone County Summer Fest on June 5 and 6 — two evenings packed with live music, food vendors, drinks, shopping, family activities, and community fun. The festival brings an energetic atmosphere to the heart of downtown as visitors gather for great entertainment, local flavors, and one of Boone County’s signature summer celebrations. Summer Fest is the perfect way to start the season and enjoy a summer night out in Lebanon. This year’s lineup includes performances from The Flying Toasters, Karate Girls, and more across two evenings of entertainment.
The music continues all summer long across Boone County with concerts, festivals, and community events happening throughout the season.
In Whitestown, the popular Summer Concert Series returns to Main Street Park on Friday nights throughout the summer, bringing a mix of genres, themed evenings, local food vendors, and family-friendly fun to the community. Concertgoers can expect everything from country and classic rock to party bands and throwback favorites.
Zionsville’s summer music scene is also in full swing with the Zionsville Cultural District Concert Series, featuring free weekly performances in Lions Park throughout the season on Wednesday evenings. Visitors can enjoy jazz, country, rock, bluegrass, and more while relaxing in one of Boone County’s most charming community gathering spaces.
In downtown Lebanon, Heart of Lebanon’s Music on the Plaza and Courthouse Drive In brings live music, community gathering, and summer fun to the city center on the second Friday of each month adding classic cars, nostalgia, and an energetic atmosphere to downtown evenings. Together, these events create the perfect small-town summer experience filled with music, food, and local charm.
Zionsville’s summer music scene goes into full swing with the free Summer Concert Series on Sunday evenings in Lions Park beginning in July, hosted by the Zionsville Lions Club. These relaxed community nights offer an easy way to wind down the weekend with live music in a welcoming park setting, featuring a variety of genres throughout the season.
As summer winds down, the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce closes out the season with Zionsville’s Street Dance on August 1 — a ticketed downtown event where guests can rock out on Zionsville’s historic Brick Street with live music, dancing, food, and a festive community atmosphere. It’s a high-energy finale to summer that brings residents and visitors together one last time to celebrate the season.
And summer music doesn’t stop there. Throughout the season, breweries, parks, festivals, and local venues across Boone County continue to bring live entertainment to patios, downtown districts, and community events — creating the perfect excuse for a summer night out.
Whether you’re discovering a new local band, dancing with friends at a festival, or simply enjoying music with an ice cream cone in hand, Boone County offers plenty of ways to make live music part of your summer plans.
