Advance’s Celebration of our Nation’s 250th Birthday

We will have vendors and food trucks from 9am-7pm. There will be a patriotic opening ceremony at noon with the parade grand marshal(s) and local dignitaries. The colors will be presented by an honor guard. Immediately followed by a parade. The town residents will be encouraged to have garage sales. During this time a local DJ will provide music and several bounce houses will be available for children. There will be a pickleball tournament with a $250 first place prize, historic military reenactors, and a bean supper. In the evening, The Flying Toasters band will play and there will be a street dance followed by fireworks.
