Submit an Event

We’re excited to help you promote your event in Boone County! Please review the guidelines below to ensure your event qualifies for submission to our event listing.

Submission Criteria

  • Your event must take place within Boone County
  • Your event must be open and accessible to the public—whether free or ticketed.
  • Your event should actively promote to, and appeal to both out-of-town visitors and residents of Boone County. 

Please note that the following types of events will not be accepted for listing:

  • Auctions, garage sales, flea markets
  • Business conferences/expos
  • Fish Fry/spaghetti dinners
  • Grand openings
  • School sporting events
  • Sports league registrations
  • Political events
  • Invitation only events such as fundraising galas, retreats, etc.
  • Community events that are only open to residents

Submission Tips

  • Submit your events early! This will help visitors plan out their activities during their stay and help keep local residents informed on upcoming events.
  • Please provide a detailed description of your event that features the most important highlights of what your event includes. There is no need to include the date, time, and location in your description as those will be entered separately
