Boone 💚s Boone: A Journey of Hope, Generosity, and Community Resilience

The Boone Hearts Boone project was a journey of generosity and hope, starting in Boone County, Indiana, and traveling to Boone, NC, West Jefferson, NC, and Avery County, NC, to support those affected by a hurricane. Over the course of the trip, a 26-foot truck was filled with donations from the community, and with the help of many local partners, we were able to deliver essential items to those in need. Along the way, we were inspired by the strength and resilience of the people we met, especially local business owners who, despite their own losses, continued to serve their community.

While the storm itself caused immense damage, the recovery process is ongoing, and local businesses are still struggling. To support the rebuilding efforts, shopping with small businesses, especially online this holiday season, can make a big difference. Your contributions can help inject funds into the local economy, ensuring these businesses continue to thrive.
