
Boone County Courthouse
At the center of downtown Lebanon, the Boone County Courthouse stands as a striking symbol of history and the county’s heritage. Completed in 1911, this Classical Revival masterpiece features a grand limestone exterior, soaring columns, and a majestic art glass dome and clock tower that anchors the city’s skyline. It’s eight, 35 feet 3 inch tall, 30 ton Bedford limestone pillars were beleved to be the largest single-piece limestone columns in the world at the time of it’s dedication on July 4, 1912.
