Greater Lafayette Kennel Club AKC Fast CAT TrialsApril 27-28
AKC Fast CAT® – which stands for Coursing Ability Test – is a timed 100-yard dash where dogs run one at a time, chasing a lure. The course is completely enclosed by fencing and a mechanical lure encourages a dog to run. Automatic timers measure the dog’s speed which is used for awarding ribbons and titles. To participate in AKC Fast CAT, dogs must be at least 12 months of age, registered with AKC, pre-enter and pay entry fees through our online entry form. GLKC club members host and run this event and are present at all times during the event. Each dog can run up to twice per day for two days, for a total of 4 runs per dog.
