With less than 90 days until the total solar eclipse here in Boone County, it’s time to get your plans finalized! Here’s a quick guide to help you successfully Get Mooned In Boone on April 8th.

If you’re visiting from out of town, welcome! We’re excited to have you in our beautiful county for this incredible, celestial event. 2. Plan Where You’re Viewing the Eclipse

Whether you’re visiting or a local resident, it’s important to find a good viewing area to experience the eclipse. Luckily, there are several community organized events across our county with loads of family friendly activities. All of these events are in ideal viewing areas to ensure you have a fun, safe viewing experience. The night before the eclipse, there will also be a laser light show with Pink Droyd, a Pink Floyd tribute band!

3. Grab Your Glasses and Learn
